- I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, and graduate of Northern Arizona University's Elementary Education program. My life-long dream has been to teach, so this educational journey is the fulfillment of my dream. The road is much rockier than I expected, but any worthwhile journey is worth the trouble.

Glad we got to hear her when we were there in November. I'm sure she did a great job! She has a lovely voice. Is she going to continue with voice studies or choir?
Manon, I think she will continue to study music. She has taken over children's choir and Michelle Yates is accompanying. Michelle says she has a way with the kids. Her choir director had her direct choirs in the teacher's absence, and I think she enjoyed it. We'll see where it leads her. She's still talking about becoming a firefighter or a mechanic.
I like the idea of a singing mechanic!! It would be like living in a musical.

That's cool. And it's the great thing about music. It can frequently be worked in around a profession that actually makes enough money to keep you eating. :)
